Never Felt Better...

Today I presented my Women in Art final project. And having already taken the final exam, I am now officially done with that class. I have never felt better in my life.

Alright that last part was a lie. But I am really excited to be done with it. Smiles.

I cannot wait for break. Only 3 finals and 2 essays to go. Fun.

I'm going to make this post really short, just wanted to celebrate my doneness with you all. <3

As promised, here are a few things from my Christmas List, nothing too outrageous.. Enjoy.

1.       Sterling Silver Taylor Momsen Engraved Cross Necklace 

I love this necklace. It is really simple, but I think it can go with everything, and I think it is really nice. 

2. Diamond Candles - Sweety Pea

I have been dying to get one of these candles. Hopefully I finally get one. It comes with a candle and a ring! And I love rings, and I love candles. 2 in one presents are the best. Smile. 

3. Suede Oxford Ankle Boots - Brown - Size 9 

These boots are so cute. I have been wanting a pair of casual oxfordy boots for a couple years now, actually since I bought my bester a pair of ankle boots a couple years ago for Christmas. <3 These are super affordable which is always a plus too!

4. Fluffy Slippers - Any color - Size 9 or L 

My fluffy slippers are old, but I love them. I need a replacement, and I will literally take any fluffy slippers. I don't care about brands or whatever. Smiles.

Hiatus.

I am so sorry for my lack of posts in the last month. 

It was busy to say the least. School. Thanksgiving break. Studying for finals. Yeah. 

But I am back. Yay. 

A little about the past month...

1. School is stoop. I am completely bored. And just done with all my classes right now. The one class I will miss? Psychology. My professor is Amaze. He is one of the main reasons for my switch of major. Yes I am a freshman and I have had my first major switch. It happens. 

2. Pre-Thanksgiving break. I went to Santa Cruz to see my boy and bester, Victoria. I was able to hang with D a lot and V's, Vic and Veronica really knew how to welcome me to SC with Chocolate Cake ;) [Yummers]

3. Thanksgiving in LA. After Santa Cruz I went home of course. I was lucky enough to have 2 Thanksgivings. One with the Fam-Bam and the other with Dayton's family. It was Yum. Ate too much... which is the point of Thanksgiving, so I'd say this year was a successful one. 

4. I'm back in school now, in good ol' Utah. It is cold as balls here. Snowed a bit today, but luckily it stopped. Just waiting for finals to be over so I can go home and party it up with my besties. <3

I am so sorry again for my lack of posting recently. But I am getting back into it, because frankly it makes me happy. Smiles. 

Also, sorry for lack of pictures. I literally took none over break. I am a stoop, I know.

Girls Night Out...

It has been forever since I have talked to you guys, and I am so sorry for that.

My life has been one midterm, or term paper after another.

I finally got out this weekend and had a fun little girls night though! It was MUCH needed! Smiles. 

We went to the mall, then to J Dawgs to get food, then to Lauren's apartment for a little movie night (Saw the Roommate finally...freaked me the _____ out)

Red Robin...

YUM! 

So tonight, I finally went out and did something fun! It was Bests Clarissa's birthday a couple days ago, and we went out to celebrate with her amazing cousin, Amy. We ate at Red Robin... and I have never gone there before... I was a bit apprehensive, but I was pleasantly surprised, it really was yum.

After dinner we went to Amy's apartment for some ice cream and homemade cake! Totally broke my diet for it. And it was well worth it! Delish. And of course we had a mini-photoshoot!

I'm Comin' Home, Tell the World That I'm Comin' Home!!!

Sorry that there haven't been any posts in awhile, but good news, I FINALLY WENT HOME!

I was able to visit my family, my boyfriend, and my amazing friends!

My father drove me down on Thursday morning, by morning I mean MORNING! (6:30am) I haven't been up that early in FOREVER. 

We drove through a blizzard, had half the transmission go out, but still managed to make it home by 5! Smiles.

This obviously isn't a picture from the blizzard, I was too freaked out to
think to take a picture, but here is some snow... and it is only October!

Once we got back, I had to wait 6 hours for D's greyhound bus to get in (Yes, he took the bus 10 hours to see me... now that is love <3)

The wait was easy though, I took a nap, and my sissy, Kimberly made me Eggplant Parmesan. Yums.

Friday: Went to laughter yoga, ate at My Vegan in Pasadena (SO GOOD), and went shopping in Old Town. I love double dates! Thanks Mitch and Jamey for the great company!

Saturday: METRO TRIP!!! and UCLA. (Got to see Chris, Cesar, and Yucey) Smiles.

Squa Peak.

So. Here I am at BYU. Not that this school isn't so much fun... (haha) 

...But seriously, there is NOTHING to do here...

My major fun events have consisted of

1. Going to Squa Peak, which overlooks the city, really pretty lights and all, but its a make out spot, and my boy is not here... it was fun going with my girly friends but with D, would have been super fun.

2. Lauren, Clarissa, and I busted a mission to get me some drugs (prescription guys.. get your minds out the gutta), and then we went to in-n-out. Smiles. That was much needed.

3. Watching Blue Mountain State on Netflix! Smiles. Check out that show. Dirty amazingness.

4. Skype. Is. My. Lifesaver. <3

5. Oh wait there is no five... there is studying. That is it. Joy.

I don't have any real pictures because I never have anyone to snap a shot. I will start having Clarissa take pictures... once I get cute again.

Just to warn y'all, I am in a bit of a pissy mood right now. 

*Story Time* Let me tell you a bit about my day...

1. I wake up and have about 15 minutes to get ready for church, no problem, grab a dress, throw

 it on, brush my teeth, put my hair in a bun, good to go.

2. Go to church, everything is pretty good till I get to the 3rd hour of church, where I express that I don't

want to get married or have kids for another 10-15 years. They looked at me like I was insane. Not fun. 

(During the 2nd hour I had to take some of my prescription pills for my sciatica, but not too bad)

3. I get back to my dorm, hang out a bit, wait for friend Clarissa to get done with church.

4. Go, in my same church dress, that my mother bought me, to the dining hall, super hungry, hadn't eaten yet. The "nice" meal card swiping lady at Brigham Young University "kindly" told us that we were immodest and needed to go change our outfits if we wanted access to the dining hall. 

Now this would have been completely fine IF my dress was 'immodest'. Maybe I am crazy. Maybe the drugs were making me more prone to upset-ness then usual. I don't know.

So, being the nice BYU girl that I am, I went and got a big skirt and put it on over my dress, and ate my meal.

College. Life. Shopping. Freedom?

So I know, I haven't blogged in about a million years. Sorry guys. I have a good excuse though.. College. 

I moved in 2 weeks ago, and time seems to go by sooo slow. I feel like I have been away from my friends and boyfriend for so long. 

On the plus side, I have a lot of pictures of my life here.. so far.

Desk and Closet.. Gotta love the closet.. Its already getting fuller from my terrible shopping addiction.

What does the college diet consist of you may ask... Well here it is! 

Just kidding... But those are some treats I've had over the past few weeks. "HI-CHEW" and "DR. THUNDER" still are barely broken into.. 

Last Saturday, since there is nothing else to do in Provo Utah, Lauren, Clarissa, Amy, and I decided to go shopping. Bad IDEA! I bought too many things. However I am in love with many of the items I bought, you'll see them on me in outfit posts to come, but here's a little sneak peak. 

Thrifted Purchase, 2 sweaters, total must, since cold weather is just around the corner. I also picked up a sweater for D, a birthday present for my Daddy (September 18th is the big 6-0), and a sweater that I'm going to cut up and spray paint to turn it into a BYU sweater (I needed something spirited).

Forever 21 Purchases. I long black flow-y skirt (A must for every girls wardrobe this fall). And a fun crop top (I feel like the sunflowers will bring me happiness once the snow comes).

Also, new nail polish I am obsessed with "Sage" from F21.<3

Anyway, a month ago, I was looking at her post "young and movin fast" with my boyfriend and I noticed her Infinity ring, (Hello my name is Kristen and I am a ring fanatic) I fell in love with that ring. 

So today, at 3 in the morning, after a fun hang out with Treb and Erling, D and I walked back to my house where he sat me on the bed and gave me a little package with a green bow, I promptly opened it and inside was the Infinity ring that I had mentioned that one time I was with him looking at a blog. 

Words can not express how thrilled I was. To be honest, I didn't even think he was paying attention as I was looking at various blogs getting outfit ideas and what not. He is truly amazing, and I am a lucky girl! <3

Why the amazing present you may ask? Well I am leaving for BYU in a week and 12 hours.. Bittersweet.

Dayt and I decided to each get each other a present. His, he gave me today, and Mine, I'm still working on, its a compound present and has taken awhile to find the pieces.
