So tonight, I finally went out and did something fun! It was Bests Clarissa's birthday a couple days ago, and we went out to celebrate with her amazing cousin, Amy. We ate at Red Robin... and I have never gone there before... I was a bit apprehensive, but I was pleasantly surprised, it really was yum.

After dinner we went to Amy's apartment for some ice cream and homemade cake! Totally broke my diet for it. And it was well worth it! Delish. And of course we had a mini-photoshoot!

After the Birthday celebration we took a quick stop by Walmart so I could get some pickles (and other stuff)... I have a weird obsession with pickles... LOVE them, don't judge me.

I'm Comin' Home, Tell the World That I'm Comin' Home!!!

Sorry that there haven't been any posts in awhile, but good news, I FINALLY WENT HOME!

I was able to visit my family, my boyfriend, and my amazing friends!

My father drove me down on Thursday morning, by morning I mean MORNING! (6:30am) I haven't been up that early in FOREVER. 

We drove through a blizzard, had half the transmission go out, but still managed to make it home by 5! Smiles.

This obviously isn't a picture from the blizzard, I was too freaked out to
think to take a picture, but here is some snow... and it is only October!

Once we got back, I had to wait 6 hours for D's greyhound bus to get in (Yes, he took the bus 10 hours to see me... now that is love <3)

The wait was easy though, I took a nap, and my sissy, Kimberly made me Eggplant Parmesan. Yums.

Friday: Went to laughter yoga, ate at My Vegan in Pasadena (SO GOOD), and went shopping in Old Town. I love double dates! Thanks Mitch and Jamey for the great company!

Saturday: METRO TRIP!!! and UCLA. (Got to see Chris, Cesar, and Yucey) Smiles.

Squa Peak.

So. Here I am at BYU. Not that this school isn't so much fun... (haha) 

...But seriously, there is NOTHING to do here...

My major fun events have consisted of

1. Going to Squa Peak, which overlooks the city, really pretty lights and all, but its a make out spot, and my boy is not here... it was fun going with my girly friends but with D, would have been super fun.

2. Lauren, Clarissa, and I busted a mission to get me some drugs (prescription guys.. get your minds out the gutta), and then we went to in-n-out. Smiles. That was much needed.

3. Watching Blue Mountain State on Netflix! Smiles. Check out that show. Dirty amazingness.

4. Skype. Is. My. Lifesaver. <3

5. Oh wait there is no five... there is studying. That is it. Joy.

I don't have any real pictures because I never have anyone to snap a shot. I will start having Clarissa take pictures... once I get cute again.

Just to warn y'all, I am in a bit of a pissy mood right now. 

*Story Time* Let me tell you a bit about my day...

1. I wake up and have about 15 minutes to get ready for church, no problem, grab a dress, throw

 it on, brush my teeth, put my hair in a bun, good to go.

2. Go to church, everything is pretty good till I get to the 3rd hour of church, where I express that I don't

want to get married or have kids for another 10-15 years. They looked at me like I was insane. Not fun. 

(During the 2nd hour I had to take some of my prescription pills for my sciatica, but not too bad)

3. I get back to my dorm, hang out a bit, wait for friend Clarissa to get done with church.

4. Go, in my same church dress, that my mother bought me, to the dining hall, super hungry, hadn't eaten yet. The "nice" meal card swiping lady at Brigham Young University "kindly" told us that we were immodest and needed to go change our outfits if we wanted access to the dining hall. 

Now this would have been completely fine IF my dress was 'immodest'. Maybe I am crazy. Maybe the drugs were making me more prone to upset-ness then usual. I don't know.

So, being the nice BYU girl that I am, I went and got a big skirt and put it on over my dress, and ate my meal.

College. Life. Shopping. Freedom?

So I know, I haven't blogged in about a million years. Sorry guys. I have a good excuse though.. College. 

I moved in 2 weeks ago, and time seems to go by sooo slow. I feel like I have been away from my friends and boyfriend for so long. 

On the plus side, I have a lot of pictures of my life here.. so far.

Desk and Closet.. Gotta love the closet.. Its already getting fuller from my terrible shopping addiction.

What does the college diet consist of you may ask... Well here it is! 

Just kidding... But those are some treats I've had over the past few weeks. "HI-CHEW" and "DR. THUNDER" still are barely broken into.. 

Last Saturday, since there is nothing else to do in Provo Utah, Lauren, Clarissa, Amy, and I decided to go shopping. Bad IDEA! I bought too many things. However I am in love with many of the items I bought, you'll see them on me in outfit posts to come, but here's a little sneak peak. 

Thrifted Purchase, 2 sweaters, total must, since cold weather is just around the corner. I also picked up a sweater for D, a birthday present for my Daddy (September 18th is the big 6-0), and a sweater that I'm going to cut up and spray paint to turn it into a BYU sweater (I needed something spirited).

Forever 21 Purchases. I long black flow-y skirt (A must for every girls wardrobe this fall). And a fun crop top (I feel like the sunflowers will bring me happiness once the snow comes).

Also, new nail polish I am obsessed with "Sage" from F21.<3
